I am expecting Lovett to get his first real opportunity on special teams, and should he fly, the heat will be on Raymond.

Replacing Ragnow is now the top priority with the interior of the offensive line under a microscope. Injuries and offseason changes have analysts predicting a drop-off, but Detroit’s depth mixed with Hank Fraley should keep the unit among the NFL’s best.
Defensive X-Factors
Aidan Hutchinson’s bounce back season from a broken fibula and tibia has the makings of a horror story with a nightmare sequel for quarterbacks in 2025. Hutchinson’s continued development throughout the off season has Aidan poised to break out. The emergence of Branch and Joseph in 2024 was special. This tandem alone could push the defense from “good enough” to “game changing.”

Dan Campbell’s bond with Detroit remains a major story. Two weeks ago, I discussed the potential for Dan Campbell to leave Detroit to go back home after winning the Super Bowl in Detroit. Then, in fitting fashion, Campbell appeared in multiple interviews this week. He was asked pointedly if he would want to coach elsewhere. Campbell reiterated his loyalty to the city and the team, calling Detroit his “dream fit” and expressing no desire to leave. That stability at the top is fueling optimism throughout the organization and the fan base.
